Bianca And Luke's Peterson House Wedding

There's something magical about being a wedding photographer and videographer. Each wedding is a unique story, filled with moments of joy, love, and connection. Today, I'm excited to share with you some of the beautiful images & amazing vendors from Bianca & Luke’s wedding day.

Getting Ready

The excitement began bright and early for Bianca and the ladies, who were getting ready at Pokolbin Village, in the heart of the NSW Hunter Valley. You could just feel the excitement bubbling away throughout the morning and as soon as Bianca stepped in front of her closest ladies in her wedding dress, the emotions really started flowing! It was a beautiful moment to witness and capture seeing the ladies reactions, and even more so capturing the emotions of Bianca’s dad when he first saw his daughter, now a bride! These moments are always unforgettable!

Luke and his groomsmen had a more chilled morning, enjoying time together with other family members, chatting over a beer, soaking up some of the quieter moments before the day well and truely kicked off!

I Do: The Ceremony

Bianca arrived at the Peterson House Chapel in the coolest maroon Mini Cooper 850, and you could see she was bursting with excitement, ready to get out and walk down the isle to Luke!

Some standout moments:

  • The 3 gorgeous paige boys - 1 little cutie being wheeled down in a little trolley

  • The moment Bianca & Luke saw each other, you could almost hear both their hearts skip a beat!

  • The tears of laughter and joy at the certificate signing

It was easy to see how and feel just how excited and in love Bianca and Luke are! After knowing each other for most of their lives, the stars finally aligned 2 years ago on the date they’ll never forget, and now they finally get to celebrate being husband and wife!

Post-Ceremony Photoshoot

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the beautiful surrounds of Peterson House and had a lot of fun popping some champagne and taking bridal party and couple shots. We wrapped up the bridal portraits with the most stunning sunset, the golden light could not have been more perfect and just added to the romantic photos Bianca was really hoping to capture.

We captured:

  • Precious group photos of Bianca and Luke’s nearest and dearest out the front of the gorgeous sandstone chapel.

  • The groomsmen trying to capture a shot of them holding up Luke with “ease!” (they weren’t too successful!!)

  • Dreamy golden light shots of the newlyweds

Between the attempted “model shots” of certain wedding party members, all the laughter that came with so many moments & the epic sunset, we had a lot of fun capturing some of the shots you’ll see below!

Eat, Drink, and Be Married: The Reception

The reception was held in the incredible marquee on the grounds of Peterson House, with elegant draping, fairy lights, clear walls and glass doors so the vineyard views can be admired at all times.

Highlights included:

  • Seeing the bridal party bust some epic moves when they entered the reception

  • The heartfelt speeches

  • One of the paige boys stealing the limelight from Bianca and her dad during the father, daughter dance!

The night really kicked off when the dance floor opened, with everyone letting loose, soaking up the last few hours of celebrations!

The Power of Moments

Every wedding is unique, but they all share one thing in common - they're filled with moments. Big moments, small moments, loud moments, quiet moments. As a wedding photographer and videographer, it's my privilege to capture these moments, freezing them in time for Bianca and Luke to relive for years to come.

To Bianca and Luke - thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day. Your love story is beautiful, and I'm honored to have helped preserve it.
