Why You Shouldn’t Miss Out On Sunset Wedding Photos

There’s something undeniably magical about sunset wedding photos. As the sun sets the soft, golden light is the most perfect light to have your photo taken. It gives a soft, natural glow that really enhances every moment, bringing out the dreamy, romantic vibes felt throughout your day, now captured in photos so you can relive the feeling forever!

Taking time to have these photos taken also gives you both a moment away, time to soak in the day and have fun getting a few shots together before you head back, and the celebrations well and truly kick off!

How long should sunset photos take?

You’ll only need about 15 – 20 minutes depending on how far from the reception location you need to walk.

How do we find the best spot for sunset photos?

You don’t need to worry about this, that’s up to us! Ludo is all over it when it comes to sunset photos and we would assume most photographers are. Finding the best light and locations is an amazing skill photographers have so just enjoy the time together soaking up the golden light and let us work our magic!

What if we plan sunset photos and it rains?

You have a couple of options here… if you’re not worried about your attire, head out a little earlier and get some shots dancing in the rain together, OR scrap sunset photos off your list, grab another glass of champers, and continue to enjoy the party!!

What if we don’t want to leave our guests and the party for sunset photos?

We never force our couples to do anything they don’t want to do (and we would say most photographers would be the same!) It’s your big day so if you don’t want to head out for sunset shots that’s completely fine, let’s stay, keep the party going and we’ll continue to capture the joy, laughter and happiness at the reception!

Still looking for the perfect photographer for your big day? We’d love to hear from you!
